Where industry and academia meet to advance imaging across applications

From personal photographs and videos taken every day with mobile devices to autonomous imaging algorithms in self-driving cars to embedded security measures in bit coin transactions to the mixed reality technology that underlies new forms of entertainment—imaging is integral to the human experience.

The Imaging Symposium offers the unique opportunity for researchers and makers from industry, government, and academia to explore the broad range of subjects that comprise the field through short courses and technical sessions. Courses and talks range from practical, real-world applications to the fundamental science and technology that underlie them. There is no other place that offers you such breadth, depth, and camaraderie in one event.

The Symposium is more than just a series of collocated conferences. It is a series of intertwined imaging science events that allow attendees to expand their knowledge and networks.

The 2024 Electronic Imaging Symposium program will be published fall 2024. To get a sense of what the week might look like, you can explore the EI 2023 conference programs

Plan to join us January 21-25 for this exciting event!
