From it’s bi-monthly membership newsletter The Reporter to two peer-reviewed journals and full conference proceedings, IS&T publishes a plethora of information on the applications and science related to imaging. IS&T is proud to announce the launch of a new journal at the intersection of perception and imaging. JPI springs from the IS&T Conference on Human Vision and Electronic Imaging (HVEI), which has been driving the research agenda in this multidisciplinary field for 30 years.

Journal of Electronic Imaging (JEI)

Published quarterly, the Journal of Electronic Imaging is co-published by IS&T and SPIE and hosted at the SPIE Digital Library.  The Journal publishes papers that are normally considered in the design, engineering, and/or application of an electronic imaging system.

IS&T Reporter

Packed with important imaging standards updates, reviews of IS&T meetings, abstracts with links to full versions of papers presented at IS&T conferences, and other Society and imaging-related information, this bi-monthly newsletter is a must read. While IS&T members receive a hardcopy of the publication, anyone can download both the PDF of this newsletter AND copies of the conference papers highlighted within it.

Since 2007, the IS&T Reporter has been highlighting papers presented at IS&T conferences by publishing their abstracts and making the full papers available for free download below. We encourage you to explore the latest developments in imaging by reading through these articles.

In addition, each issue of the reporter feature a Standards column written by Ann McCarthy. These articles may be found within the PDFs of each issue provided below.

IS&T/Wiley Series

IS&T has partnered with John Wiley & Sons, Ltd. to develop a series of books to advance the latest scientific and technological developments in the greater field of imaging, with particular emphasis on digital printing, electronic imaging, image assessment and reproduction, image archiving and preservation, color science, pre-press technologies, and hybrid imaging system. The series is edited by Michael Kriss (retired, Eastman Kodak Co. and Sharp Laboratories). For information on publishing under this imprint, contact IS&T.

Conference Proceedings

IS&T is proud of its tradition of publishing proceedings for each of its sponsored conferences. A full listing of proceedings can be found through various search options within the IS&T bookstore, or in PDF form via the Digital Library. In addition, IS&T carries the proceedings for a few other imaging-related meetings, particularly those that have taken place in Asia. The breadth of IS&T conference proceedings offering can be found on the main digital library page .

IS&T Digital Library

Files in the Digital Library are available on a pay-per-download basis, or by subscription.  All IS&T members receive subscription access to all of our conference proceedings, and a choice of one journal via the digital library.
