Conference Overview

We welcome research papers and presentations that explore advances in deep learning and imaging in a hybrid edge-cloud processing environment. Mobile imaging sensors for medical measurement; image and video processing for healthcare applications such as dietary monitoring; mobile tools for accessing and updating patient data; remote and field-based diagnosis; diagnostic collaboration among experts; surgical planning.

IMAGING FOR VISUAL INSPECTION

Object recognition and tracking; pose estimation; defect identification; label recognition; quality rating; robotic navigation and planning.

IMAGING FOR AGRICULTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING

Climate change monitoring; imaging sensor processing for smart home and smart office applications; ambient intelligence; activity recognition; occupancy-based environment control; monitoring and diagnostics for home appliances and HVAC systems; intelligent agents to assist with household chores, such as monitoring inventory of groceries and ordering replacements; Internet of Things (IOT), wildlife and livestock monitoring.
