Registration Fees and Guidelines
- EI Technical Registration includes admission to all technical, demonstration, and poster sessions, Monday Welcome Lunch, Tuesday Demonstration Session/Exhibit Happy Hour, Wednesday Poster Session Lunch, 3D Theater, EI exhibition, and daily coffee breaks. Separate fees are required for short courses.
- Technical registration is not required to register for Short Courses. You may register independently for these.
- All registration options can include membership (new or renewal), which offers a choice of e-subscription to the Journal of Imaging Science and Technology (JIST) or Journal of Electronic Imaging (JEI).
- Student registrations automatically include membership with an e-subscription to JIST.
Authors, please note: Each paper requires a presenting author registration (student or regular). One full (non-student) registration may cover two papers, if presented by the same person. Each additional paper given by the same speaker requires a fee equal to the student author fee. Contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
Student status ends with awarding of PhD.

Registration Policies
GROUP DISCOUNT: Register 5 or more people from the same institution and receive 10% off the total. Registrations must all come in at once and be processed by IS&T. Cannot be combined with other offers. Contact [email protected] for details.
BANK TRANSFERS: If you wish to use a bank transfer, please contact [email protected] to arrange payment. A US$25 fee will be added to your charges.
CANCELLATION / REFUND POLICY: To cover bank charges and processing fees, there is a cancellation fee of $125 until February 1, 2026. After that date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total plus $125 unless your manuscript has already been submitted for upload to the IS&T Digital Library. In this case, the cancellation fee is $500 per the copyright agreement. No refunds will be given after February 23, 2026. Requests for a refund must be made in writing to [email protected].
*Your paid registration signifies your agreement to be recorded (voice and/or video) and/or photographed in the course of normal business, and may be used for IS&T promotional purposes.
