EI 2021 Registration Fees

Registration will open in late summer, once the Short Course Program has been set. EI offers discounted fees for members, students, and groups, as well as full registration options that include membership.  Separate fees are required for short courses; one need not be registered for the Symposium to take short courses.

ONLINE REG FEES: You can anticipate that fees for EI2021 will be about 60% of what they are for an in-person event. In addition to individual course and technical program registrations, we will also offer all-access short course and all access tech session + short course passes. All courses and talks will be recorded and posted within 24 hours of them occurring in real time. Access to recordings will be available for at least 3 months after the event.

EI Student Registration Fees and Student Author Requirements

All student registrations include membership. Student registration fees are kept low as a shared benefit from other attendees paying the full rate.

For Student Authors: A major benefit received by EI authors is the Open Access status of their published papers. To help offset Open Access publishing costs, at least one author on a paper must be registered at the full (non-student) conference registration rate. Student authors may register at the student registration rate as long as a professor or a co-author is registered at the full conference rate. One full registration may be associated with up to maximum of 3 papers. For more than 3 papers, or if you do not have a co-author registered at the full rate, contact registration@imaging.org.

Registration Cancellation Policies

To cover bank charges and processing fees, there is a cancellation fee of $100 until December 11, 2020. After that date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total plus $100. No refunds will be given after January 8, 2021. Requests for a refund must be made in writing.

For Corresponding Authors/Presenters

To cover submission site charges, as well as bank and processing fees, there is a cancellation fee of $150 until December 11, 2020. After that date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total plus $150 unless your manuscript has already been submitted. If your paper has been submitted for upload to the IS&T Digital Library, the cancellation fee is $500 per the copyright agreement. Requests for a refund must be made in writing.
