The New International Symposium on Silver Halide Imaging: Recent Advances and Future Opportunities in Silver Halide Imaging, is a continuation of the previous East-West Symposia, and as such we have tried to maintain the focus, character, and flavor of the three previous meetings while providing a truly international forum for scientific exchange. The Symposium provided an interactive environment for the world's leading photographic researchers to discuss current and future aspects of Silver Halide Imaging Science and technology. The Proceedings consist of about 80 papers that deal with leading edge aspects of silver halide imaging.
