33rd Color and Imaging Conference

Display Color Consistency and Individual Differences in Color Sensitivity

W1
WORKSHOP 1: Display Color Consistency and Individual Difference in Color Sensitivity

Conveners: Francisco Imai, senior color imaging scientist, and Shahram Peyvandi, senior color imaging scientist, Apple Inc. (US)
Duration: 2 hours
Workshop Time: 13:30 - 15:30

Description
Recent development of display technologies with wider color gamut, HDR capabilities, and varieties of spectral emission across panel technologies imposes numerous challenges in color appearance reproduction in display system. This workshop introduces challenges related to color consistency and proposes potential solutions in display industry as well as standardization efforts.
