Early registration ends 8 January 2018. Authors are strongly encouraged to register during the early registration period.

Registration Cancellation Policies

For non-authors: To cover bank charges and processing fees, there is a cancellation fee of $75 until  8 January 2018. After that date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total plus $75. No refunds will be given after 28 January, 2018. Requests for a refund must be made in writing.

For authors: To cover bank charges and processing fees, there is a cancellation fee of $75 until  8 January 2018. After that date, the cancellation fee is 50% of the total plus $75 unless your paper has already been published. If you paper has been submitted for upload to the IS&T Digital Library,  no refunds will be given. Requests for a refund must be made in writing.

Symposium Registration Fees

Symposium Registration Includes: Admission to all technical sessions of all the conferences; coffee breaks; the exhibit, Demonstration Session, and Interactive (Poster) Paper Session; Meet the Future Student and Young Professional Showcase; Conference Reception; and support of free access to all the EI proceedings papers on the IS&T Digital Library. Separate registration fees are required for short courses.

To better serve you, IS&T is offering conference registration options that include membership (new or renewals).

Register for just the symposium OR register for the symposium plus IS&T membership, with your choice of an online subscription to the Journal of Imaging Science and Technology (JIST) or Journal of Electronic Imaging (JEI).

Students

All student registrations include membership. Students who register before the early registration deadline also receive one (1) free 2- or 4-hour short course. Student registration fees are kept low as a shared benefit from other attendees paying the full rate. 

For Student Authors: A major benefit received by EI authors is the Open Access status of their published papers. To help offset Open Access publishing costs, we require at least one author per paper to register at the full (non-student) conference registration rate. Each student author may register at the Student registration rate as long as their associated professor or a co-author is registered at the full conference rate. One full registration may be associated with up to 3 papers. For more than 3 papers, contact [email protected].
