2022 Venue: Online

Archiving talks and courses are live events, but are also recorded for viewing/reviewing until 15 October 2022. (Note that two courses are only offered on-demand as recordings.)

Online Access and Software

Please note the following:

  • Archiving 2022 events are accessible through the Archiving Conference Portal, which will open by May 20. The Conference Portal contains links to all the live sessions, tours, and recordings, as well as a way for you to directly message other attendees, speakers, and instructors. All registrants are sent a "Welcome to Archiving 2022" email with detailed instructions on how to access the Portal. Please note: you will not be send direct links to any of the courses or sessions.
  • At this point in time, the courses and technical sessions will be run in GoToTraining (part of the GoTo suite).
  • The Interactive Paper Poster Session, Welcome and Closing Reception, and Breaks will be held in Gather.
  • Behind-the-Scenes Tours may use any of the following interfaces: the GoTo suite, Zoom, or Teams.
  • All events occur live, but are recorded for later viewing via the Conference Portal.

Conference registration includes admission to all technical sessions, the conference e-proceedings, exhibits, and Behind-the-Scenes Tours, including recordings of talks and tours until 15 October, 2022.

Please note:

  • Separate registration fees are required for short courses; courses may be taken live and/or via recordings until 15 October 2022.
  • Short Course Only attendees will have access to course recordings until 15 October 2022.
  • Registration options include membership (new or renewal) with an online subscription to the Journal of Imaging Science and Technology (JIST) or Journal of Electronic Imaging (JEI).
  • Student registration includes membership and an online subscription to JIST. Students are defined as full-time, through PhD.
  • Please familiarize yourself with the Attendee Online Conference Guidelines, and note that IS&T is dedicated to ensuring a safe and harassment-free environment for everyone, as outlined in the IST Code of Conduct.

BANK TRANSFERS: If you wish to use a bank transfer, a US$25 fee is added; please contact [email protected] to arrange.

CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: To cover bank charges and processing fees, there is a cancellation fee of 15%, with a maximum fee of $100 charged. All requests for refund must occur in writing to [email protected] and must be received by 20 May 2022. In lieu of a refund, you may transfer the payment to another conference or product by 24 May 2022 (short courses or passport registrations) or 6 June (technical registration only).

*Your paid registration signifies your agreement to be recorded (voice and/or video) in the course of normal business, such as during the Q&A portion of a live event. All recordings of live events will be available for viewing by all paid registrants, and may be used for IS&T promotional purposes.

This applies to all interactions with the Society and its programs/events, whether in a formal conference session, in a social setting, or on-­‐line.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, etc., as well as deliberate intimidation; stalking; harassing photography, recording, or postings; sustained disruption of talks or other events; inappropriate physical contact; and unwelcome sexual attention. Please note that the use of sexual language and/or imagery is never appropriate, including within conference talks, online exchanges, or the awarding of prizes. Participants asked to stop any harassing behavior are expected to comply immediately.

Those participating in IS&T activities who violate IS&T Code of Conduct/Anti-Harassment Policy or IS&T’s Publications Policy may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference and/or membership without a refund at the discretion of IS&T. Please note that all reports are kept confidential and only shared with those who “need to know”; retaliation in any form against anyone reporting an incident of harassment, independent of the outcome, will not be tolerated.
