Connect with innovation. Connect with peers. Connect with knowledge.
2017 marks the 29th anniversary of IS&T International Symposium on Electronic Imaging. Over the course of these 29 years, many thousands of electronic imaging students, engaged in the myriad facets of imaging science and engineering, have enhanced their skills and launched their careers through the connections that have been made here.
EI 2017 promises to be no different. You will learn about new imaging applications, hear of the next challenges tackled on the frontiers of imaging science, and interact with renowned imaging scientists and pioneers from around the world. Symposium plenaries, short courses taught by the experts, conference keynotes, and informal gatherings allow you to tap into a smart, forward-thinking global community that will inspire and empower you.
For students and prospective employers, EI 2017 will offer Meet the Future: A Showcase of Student and Young Professionals Research. This 1st annual event will bring invited students together with academic and industry representatives who may have opportunities to offer, and will provide each student with an opportunity to present and discuss their academic work via an interactive poster session. Students presenting at an EI 2017 conference or who have presented at another qualifying conference may apply. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for information.
