CIC18 Preliminary Program Released We've got an amazing week planned for Nov. 8-12 in San Antonio, Texas, including a riverboat tour of the famous River Walk. Archiving 2011 Call Released Salt Lake City hosts Archiving 2011, May 16­ to 19. General Chairs Wayne Metcalfe, FamilySearch, and Kate Zwaard, US Government Printing Office, have released the Call for Papers, with an October 17, 2010 submission deadline.

CIC: Color Imaging Conference: Color Science, Systems and Applications (CIC)

Co-sponsored by IS&T and SID (Society for Information Display), the Color Imaging Conference has become the premier technical gathering for scientists, technologists, and engineers working in the areas of color science and systems, and their application to color imaging. International in nature, one third of the participants hailed from outside the U.S. and Canada, representing disciplines ranging from psychophysics, optical physics, image processing, color science, graphic arts, systems engineering, as well as hardware and software development. While the broad mix of professional interests is the hallmark of these conferences, the focus is color -- color as a critical element of the research and application efforts of this segement of the professional imaging community.
