CGIV2010/MCS'10 Preliminary Program Released Join colleagues June 14-17 in Joensuu, Finland for CGIV2010 and MCS'10! This year's highlights include complementary workshops, inclusion of the conference banquet in the fee, a highly-selective papers program, three interesting keynotes, and reasonable hotel room rates.

CIC18 Call Available Online The CIC18 Call for Papers is available online. The deadline for submissions is April 12, 2010. CIC18 will take place in San Antonio, Texas, November 8-12, 2010. Mark your calendars now to attend!

LOPE-C: Large-area, Organic & Printed Electronics Call for Papers OE-A will be hosting LOPE-C, the Large-area, Organic & Printed Electronics Convention and OE-A's annual conference & exhibition, May 31 - June 02, 2010 at the Congress Center, Messe Frankfurt, Germany. IS&T is a media partner for the event. The deadline for submission of abstracts is January 18, 2010.

Technologies in Digital Photo Fulfillment (TDPF)

History

Started in response to the burgeoning technology and delivery options surrounding digital image capture, the International Symposium on Technologies for Digital Photo Fulfillment is held in odd years. The first two meetings in this series took place in Las Vegas, Nevada, just prior to PMA.

Scope

TDPF focuses on the advances, synergies, and future directions of creating, printing, sharing, and archiving consumer and professional photos.

The conference addresses all aspects associated with generating consumer and professional photos&emdash;from capture devices such as camera phones, digital still cameras, and conventional color negative film to photographic image processing, sharing, archiving, and various modes and methods of output.

Topics covered at the conference include retail fulfillment (i.e., kiosks and minilabs); home fulfillment (i.e., snapshot printers); online fulfillment, sharing, and storage; mobile fulfillment (i.e., cell phone cameras and on-line photofinishing); output Media (AgX, thermal, EP and ink jet); capture devices (DSCs, film, camera phones); output equipment (printers, minilabs, kiosks); and image processing (workflow, algorithms)
