Color Science and Engineering: Systems, Technologies, and Applications
The premier international technical conference on color imaging is held every year in Scottsdale, Arizona. The 11th of these conferences will happen in November 2003 and we are committed to make it a truly special one. If you are a scientist or engineer working in the areas of color science or color engineering, or other fields with applications to color imaging products, this is your conference. The hallmark of this conference is a broad mix of professional interests. The range of professional areas represented includes: color science, color engineering, image processing, color reproduction, color printing, color displays, digital photography, image capture (color, multi-spectral, high dynamic range), color image quality analysis, visualization in color, color in computer graphics, psychophysics concerning human color vision, optical physics, color in systems engineering, and software and hardware development for color systems. In addition, we would like to encourage submissions in the area of color in new display technologies. The success of the color imaging conference follows from the quality of the technical program. So, we take this opportunity to invite you, the members of the international color imaging community, to submit your work to the 11th Color Imaging Conference (CIC11). As in previous years, all submissions will be refereed through a double blind review process. The conference language is English. The conference also draws strength from its single track format and from the technical tutorials that precede the conference. Interaction is placed at center stage throughout the whole event. This is the conference to meet and talk with those people whose books you have read in the past and whom you always wanted to ask a hundred questions. It is the conference to exchange ideas and thoughts with your colleagues from academia and industry. For many of us, this conference has been the main opportunity each year to meet a lot of our colleagues working in different places from all over the world. It is a very interesting and enjoyable conference. If you have attended before, we look forward to seeing you again. If you haven't been before, please plan on making CIC11 your first.
